At One Iota Golf our ultimate intention is to help golf athletes consistently improve and reach their full potential. An iota is defined as ‘an extremely small amount’ and we believe that striving to get a little better each day – one iota better each day – is what will help athletes reach their full potential.

We strive to address all four components of performance, namely, Mental, Physical, Technical, and Tactical and provide software tools to enable coaches and athletes to work more effectively together and resolve misalignments while maximizing each of these components.

Welcome to our first blog post! Each week we will post a new blog that will help you develop both awareness and understanding of how to reach your full potential, explore real world experiences and unpack how powerful each component is and how they influence each other.

Our blogs will be authored by one or more of our One Iota team members, each providing a unique perspective on high performance. Before we go any further, lets meet each of them:

Kim Senecal
Kim is a mental performance coach with an MA in Physical Education and Sport Studies with an emphasis in Sport Psychology.  Kim has spent over 20 years working with athletes and coaches in a variety of sports and for the past 6 years has focused on working with competitive juniors, college, and professional golfers on the mental side of their game.

Matt Steinbach
Matthew Steinbach is a PGA of Canada ‘Class A’ Professional with a certification in Coaching. Through a dedicated focus on player development that encompasses all aspects of performance, Steinbach has distinguished himself as one of the top coaches in the NCAA.

Ryan Stolys
Ryan is a former collegiate golfer with multiple wins at the amateur level. As a computer engineer by trade, he is highly analytical and applies that to his approach and perspective on golf training.

Scott Kerr
Scott is a professional golfer who has competed in 11 different countries and multiple golf tours. With multiple wins as an amateur, collegiate and professional golfer, Scott utilizes his creativity to unlock awareness of his surroundings, both internal and external.

In the following blog posts we will discuss both large scale ideas relating to the four components, while also taking a dive into the nuance and details of performance.
